Hi SRE, LKE and LKM Families!

We are excited to be hosting the first LKE/LKM/SRE Multicultural fair at Lakewood Middle in the commons area THIS Friday, March 27th from 6-8pm. We have over 70 performers attending, more than 20 booths showcasing different cultures throughout the world along with food, dancing, jewelry and more!  Please join us as our neighbors present their cultures for everyone to experience!

We are also looking for volunteers to make this event a success for our joining communities.  Please see the sign up below and volunteer if you can!

We are excited to invite our community to a Multicultural Festival, jointly hosted by Lakewood Elementary (LKE), Lakewood Middle School (LKMS), and Sunset Ridge Elementary (SRE).  

Event Details
📅 Date: March 27, 2026
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Lakewood Middle School Cafeteria / Commons

This is a free-entry community celebration focused on cultural performances and family-led cultural showcases. Families are invited to participate by performing (dance, music, singing, etc.) or by hosting a cultural table that highlights traditional clothing, jewelry, crafts, customs, and/or food etc.  

 

 

 

 Participation Guidelines
To ensure we are able to accommodate as many families and cultures as possible within the two-hour event, please note the following participation guidelines:
  • Due to time limitations, priority will be given to group performances rather than solo performances.
  • Performance slots & cultural showcase tables are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, especially if multiple groups sign up representing the same culture.
  • If there is high interest from a single culture or region, we may need to limit the number of performances and showcase tables to allow for broader representation.
  • Participation by non-school–affiliated cultural groups is welcome
  • Submission of this form does not guarantee a performance slot. All selected participants will receive confirmation closer to the event date.
